Year-long Outside Reading Assignment

Regular reading is essential to success in school and so is expected every day. Although there is class time set aside for independent reading, it is essential that your student supplement this time with reading outside of school. Below is the on-going daily homework assignment. Reading homework will be checked every Tuesday.
• Read for 3.5 hours every week outside of class (average about 1/2 hour each day)
• Record title, author, pages and time in planners
• Planners signed weekly by parent/guardian

This form can substitute if your planner is unavailable.
